TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share an experience similar to that of a TED event. Our event is called TEDxBrussels, where x = independently organized TED event. At TEDx events, TEDTalks videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
Each conference is an opportunity to exchange Perspectives and envision the world of tomorrow. Through diverse speakers, relevant themes, and exciting partnerships with our sponsors, our events are designed to inspire action. Each participant leaves with a refreshing energy for tangible ideas in their daily lives.

Through Audacious Project, TED has helped catalyze more than $3 billion in funding for projects to make the world more beautiful, sustainable and just. In 2020, TED launched Countdownan initiative to accelerate solutions to the climate crisis and mobilize a movement for a net-zero emissions future. In 2023, TED launched TED Democracy to initiate a new kind of conversation focused on realistic pathways to a more dynamic and equitable future.
